The first of a series of six, ten-track compilations, each of which has the same style sleeve design, and like much of Gusto's product is a bit of rip-off. On Vol. 1 all but one track is from the Country Folk Music Spotlight album, which also is the source of the cover photo used in the series.
Still you've got to give Gusto credit for the excellent The Early Starday/King Years, 1958-1961 and The King Years, 1961-1965 4xCD sets, which are definitely the best way to get all the King/Starday material.
I don't have any of the '1983 Collectors Editions', so if anyone is able to provide better pictures, please get in touch!
