This is a largely forgotten compilation of 'Contemporary Bluegrass' versions of Hank Williams' songs. Ernie Thacker lends his soulful lead vocal to one track Your Cheatin' Heart, and Don Rigsby is also included with a rendition of I Told A Lie To My Heart.
Small biographies on each of the featured artists are included in the liner notes, which indicate that Ernie's track was recorded after the release of the Tennessee Blues.
