Ralph had a show at "Coalton Country Jubilee", Greenup, KY. A newspaper report from 19 Jan in "The Greenup County News" mentions that the entire show was recorded by Riverside Studios.

08 - 09 Jan 1982 - Alexandria, VA (44 years ago)

Ralph appeared at the Birchmere, in Alexandria, Virginia. Other acts included: Dry Branch Fire Squad

09 Jan 1983 - Pikeville, KY (43 years ago)

Ralph played at the 'Curley Lambert Benefit Show' at Marlow's Country Palace in Pikeville, Kentucky.

The show ran from 3-9pm and other acts included: Goins Bros., Larry Sparks, Dave Evans, Marlow Tackett & Southern Comfort.

According to the sleeve notes to the LP Tribute To The Stanley Brothers (Jalyn JLP-129) 1971, this album featuring Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys was recorded on the 9 Jan 1971. Ricky Skaggs however recalls it being cut on the 8th.
