This final retrospective album is best avoided, unless you want to hear Chubby pick the banjo, fiddle, mandolin and lead guitar... It was recorded in 1979 at Central Sound Studio in Auburndale Florida, when Glen Odom persuaded Chubby to record some country tunes, given the lure of free studio time.

Eleven tracks were recorded, before Chubby died on 5th February 1980. To complete the album, Glen Odom took Huskie's Fiddle from the Tall Timber Bluegrass - The Best Of Bluegrass LP.

The dobro, steel guitar, drums and backing vocals were overdubbed later, and the result is pretty dire. I can't help, but wonder what the album would have been like if Chubby had lived to see it's completion.

  • Chubby Anthony: vocal, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, lead guitar
  • Josh Graves: dobro
  • John Rich: steel guitar
  • Carl Chambers: guitar, backing vocal
  • Gerald Chambers: bass
  • Jon Corneal: drums
  • Randy Horton: backing vocal
  • Kim Boyce: backing vocal
  • Tina Boyce: backing vocal
  • Denise Shumate: backing vocal
  • Cheryl Ingram: backing vocal
  • Daphne Swilling: backing vocal

NB: Vocal on Huskie's Fiddle by Chubby Anthony and Robert McDougal.
