This is a rare 45 by Densile 'Curly Dan' Holcomb & The Danville Mountain Trio, with Bill Napier credited on the 'A' side label as playing mandolin. Presumably the 7" was recorded before he joined The Stanley Brothers in the Summer 1957.
The 45 is now horrendously rare (and expensive), but you can fortunately hear the A Side and B side on youtube.
Sleep Darling is a slow mournful song about the loss of a partner with a neat mandolin intro and break. My Little Rose is more uptempo love song featuring banjo and mandolin, though the vocals are rather indistinct.
In the '70s Bill Napier would later help out Curly Dan & Wilma Ann on their three Old Homestead albums.
