This is one of three CD's from the 1972 Bean Blossom festival which were available from the (now defunct) "beanblossomstore" website.

Tracks 1-8 are from Ralph's Saturday late afternoon/early evening performance and Tracks 9-16 are from the late Saturday evening performance 17th Jun 1972.

Approx 10xCDs worth of MP3s have circulated from the Bean Blossom 1972 festival^[1] including additional CMB material not on the CD and the quality isn't noticeably any better than the MP3's.. but it's still a nice to have item.

Tracks 17-22 are from a joint session with Jimmy Martin and the Sunny Mountain Boys, recorded at the Carlton Haney's 7th Annual Labor Day Weekend Blue Grass Festival at Blue Grass Park, Camp Springs, Reidsville North Carolina between 2nd - 5th Sept 1971. At the festival Carlton had the idea of putting two bands on stage at once, with Ralph making appearances with Jimmy Martin and Mac Wiseman. The set with Jimmy Martin included the regular CMB line-up minus Roy Lee Centers, plus Jimmy Martin, Alan Munde, Gloria Belle and Ray Martin from the Sunny Mountain Boys. With a running time of over 74 mins, the CD may not play in all players - it works fine in my PC, but doesn't play on my relatively new hi-fi.

PS: There's a couple of print errors on the CD Tray - What A Singing There Will Be should be When I Get Home and there's a version of Katy Daley at the end of Track 20 which isn't listed.
