Please rate this album:

Excluding reissues and compilations, this was Larry's first Gospel album since I Don't Regret A Mile in 2008.

Four of the twelve tracks are re-recordings of old favourites, with: Thank You Lord, Where We'll Never Say Farewell and King Jesus all previously cut on Bluegrass Old And New (1972) and Thank You Lord (1976); and Lord, Show Me The Way on The Coldest Part Of Winter (2003).

Two classic Hank Williams songs are included with versions of I Saw The Light and House Of Gold. The latter features former CMB John Rigsby on harmonica and was promoted with a video by Rebel which can be found on youtube.

There's also versions of Jimmie Davis' Someone To Care and To My Mansion In The Sky which he recorded in 1952 & 1953 respectively.

The remaining four tracks are all new compositions by Daniel Crabtree: Don't Take Your Eyes Off Of Jesus, Holdin' On, Jesus Won't You Guide Me and All Over Me.

This is another fine album, which fans will want to pick up...

The CD comes in a 3-fold digipak.

  • Larry Sparks: guitar, lead & harmony vocals
  • John Rigsby: harmonica (a)
  • Larry D. Sparks: bass
  • Ron Stewart: fiddle, banjo (b)
  • Evan Wilson: mandolin, harmony vocal
  • Jacob Wright: banjo

NB: (a) harmonica on A2 only. (b) Banjo & Fiddle on A5 & A10, Fiddle only on remainder of tracks.
