The version of In Memory Of Carter Stanley is from a studio rehearsal in February 1971 which doesn't feature Ralph, but does have Roy Lee Centers on banjo.
Presumably the modus operandi for releasing the Gospel and secular material seperately was to cater for those who prefer one or the other, like that adopted for the Saturday Evening / Sunday Morning release.
