(Sugar Hill Records SUG-CD-3947) 2002
From a CMB perspective, this album is a bit disappointing. Although Dewey is featured in the band photo's on the cover, he is only heard playing back-up on three tracks, plus a kick-off and break on The New John Henry Blues... The fiddle spot seems to have been quite fluid, as most of the songs feature Ron Stewart, and by June 2002, when the album was reviewed in 'Bluegrass Unlimited', Dewey had departed and Adam Johnson was in the band.
The album, which features tight contemporary bluegrass, will no doubt delight fans of Junior Sisk, IIIrd Time Out, Quicksilver, etc. etc.
Most of the lead vocals are by a youthful Junior Sisk, although Alan Bibey leads on Livin' It Up and Ed Biggerstaff on The New John Henry Blues.
(*) Dewey only plays on Prayer Bells Of Heaven, Rock Hearts, and The New John Henry Blues, the remainder of the fiddle work is handled by Ron Stewart.
