Details of this release have been pretty elusive... I'd heard that Sammy had released a cassette with Ralph during his tenure as lead vocalist with the CMB's (1986-1990)... and subsequently this album has been reissued on CD-R by Sammy Adkins, with an inkjet printed cover/inlay.

As with most of Ralph's side projects with CMB members, the album is a collection of re-recordings of old Stanley Brothers/Ralph Stanley material... and as Sammy only got to record I'll Answer The Call and Like Father, Like Son with Ralph, having a third album, is a real treat.

If anyone can help provide more details of the original cassette release, I'd be very grateful - You can Contact me here...

PS: There are several youtube clips of Sammy Adkins and The Sandy Hook Mountain Boys... which are worth checking out.
