(Wango WANGOCD104) 1997
This album was recorded March 14-15th 1987 by Ray Davis, and accompanied a live 'Bluegrass Reunion' that took place on the 15th at the Fire Hall, Arcadia, MD (1-7pm).[1] Del McCoury was also on the bill.
Presumably Ray Davis had them perform in his Baltimore Basement Studio, although the cover shows Ralph, James and George on stage, the recording is definitely one done in a studio, and there is a photo from Freight Trains Ride Again, Vol. 2 which shows James King, Curly Ray Cline and George Shuffler in Ray Davis' basement studio.
No musicians are listed, but the Plum Pitiful, Vol. 2 CD includes Life Of Sorrow from this session and identifies the musicians as below. Another track from the album (Little Glass Of Wine) also appears on Plum Pitiful, Vol. 1.
It's possible that it may have been a cassette only release initially (Wango C-119) and then re-issued on CD in 1997.
