This is a CD reissue of the Sing Michigan Bluegrass and Gospel Echoes Of The Stanley Brothers LPs which Ralph recorded for Jessup in 1971.

The shortish liner notes are by Colin Escott, who is also credited as compiling the collection and co-producing. He later wrote the liner notes to the Early Classics: The King Recordings compilation and Ralph's 2011 CD A Mother's Prayer which won him an IBMA award. More recently he also wrote the liner notes for the 2xCD The Complete Jessup Recordings Plus! set which combines the same material on this disc with 10 tracks from the Keith Whitley & Ricky Skaggs - Tribute To The Stanley Brothers LP.

As far as I can tell the sound quality is as good as the original LPs and the more recent Complete Recordings set.
