The Stanley Brothers - 4 CD Gospel Set

(Gusto BXS-3624) 1989

I've only seen one copy of this on ebay and as far as I can tell it is a 4xCD set from 1989. Disc's 1-3 are a mix of King / Starday material plus tracks from Wayne Raney's Dec. 1965 Rimrock session, and Disc 4 is a reissue of the Hymns Of The Cross album.

Nowadays the King/Starday material is probably best found on the two 4xCD box sets The Early Starday/King Years, 1958-1961 and The King Years, 1961-1965. The Rimrock material is harder to locate, but the In Memory Of Carter Stanley and A Beautiful Life albums, which contain all the Rimrock material, have both been reissued on vinyl, CD and CD-R.
