This is a UK compilation which features material from the Stanley's Rich-R-Tone and Columbia period. In 2001, when it was released - the recordings would have recently become copyright free in the UK, and it's likely that no royalties (other than songwriting mechanicals) would have been paid.

Nowadays the Complete Columbia Stanley Brothers and Earliest Recordings: The Complete Rich-R-Tone 78s CDs are better sources for this material!
