Although this compilation doesn't match the calibre set by the previous two Rebel compilations Classic Bluegrass and The Best Of... Bound To Ride, it is nonetheless of a good standard, something which speaks volumes about the remarkable consistency of Larry's body of work.
The collection was issued in 2016, one year after Larry was inducted into the IBMA Hall of Fame. My inner cynic wonders if Rebel put the album together to capitalise on Larry's induction.
The album includes a few tracks with a Stanley connection including versions of Carter Stanley's Think Of What You've Done, (A) Life Of Sorrow, plus Ralph/Peggy Stanley's If That's The Way You Feel.
Two tracks are duplicated from Larry's first CD collection: Classic Bluegrass: Cannonball Blues and Waltz Of The Wind.
The CD comes housed in a digipack with a glued-in booklet with track details & liner notes by Gary Reid.
