This is a 12-track gospel compilation. The title is a bit ambiguous, but probably means the 'sacred songs' Carter loved, rather than ones he wrote...
The album was reissued on a Kentucky label (Pine Mountain PMR-1013) c197?, (LP labels have catalogue PMR-213).
Today, probably the best way to get all the King/Starday material is on the excellent The Early Starday/King Years, 1958-1961 and The King Years, 1961-1965 4xCD sets.
