Various Artists - Wango EP-108

(Wango EP-108) c1967

Side One
Side Two

I don't have a copy of this 7" Gospel EP but it looks like the two Stanley tracks have both previously been issued on Ray Davis' Wango label under the 'John's Gospel Quartet' alias.

Someone's Last Day, with George Shuffler singing lead, is I think from the John's Gospel Quartet LP recorded when Carter had laryngitis; and Hold Fast To The Right is probably from the Wango 1784 7" EP. This suggests that 'Wango EP-108' was issued after Carter had died, although I'm guessing at a circa 1967 date.

The Stanley's version of Hold Fast To The Right was later reissued on the V/A - Memories Of Mother and V/A - It's Hymn Time Vol. 1.
