Nathan's 6th album, recorded at Maggard Sound, in Big Stone Gap, Va. features the Clinch Mountain Boys on backing.

It's not a bad album by any means, but I find Nathan's vocal style a bit too smooth for my tastes.

The Stanley Melody track is a medley of bits from Roll In My Sweet Baby's Arms, Long Journey Home and Moutain Dew.

The reissue on Willow Creek adds two tracks featuring Ralph. Both have also been reissued on other albums: Rank Stranger is the same version which has appeared on Nathan & Ralph Stanley - Gospel Favorites and American Icon: The Definitive Collection; and Where Could I Go But To The Lord is the same version as on Nathan & Ralph Stanley - Gospel Favorites.

NB: (a) tenor vocals on Will You Miss Me.
(b) lead vocal on Will You Miss Me only.
(c) bass vocal on Will You Miss Me.
(d) Ralph shares lead and tenor vocal on Rank Stranger and Where Could I Go But To The Lord - on the Willow Creek reissue only.
